Mainly, she draws from evidence-based and person-centered therapy approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and humanistic therapies.
Crystal believes that therapy is a collaborative journey with the client where the therapeutic relationship will provide the safe space and strength for the individual to better strive with stronger self-acceptance. She strives to walk alongside each person with openness and empathy, while working together to navigate their challenges and discover meaningful ways forward. Crystal sees life as rarely easy and no one is perfect, thus, she believes that growth comes from learning to embrace each life experience, strengths, and vulnerabilities. She hopes to support each individual who comes forward in developing the skills and strengths to face life hardships with greater resilience, self-acceptance, and independence.
